Accepting Applications for Grant Project Funding

Every year it is the pleasure of this Club to fund projects in our community that make a difference to our neighbors. For the past 60+ years, club members have volunteered countless hours of service and generated hundreds of thousands of dollars which have been distributed back into the community. Through fundraising, the Rotary Club of Burien/White Center supports Rotary International, district projects, local charities, scholarship programs, and other organizations.

Project funding Grants through the allocation process is one of the ways the Club gives back to this community. Grants typically range from $500 to $1,000. To be eligible for this grant, the organization and the program for which support is being requested must meet the following guidelines:

  • The organization must be a registered 501(c)3
  • The program must directly benefit people in the Burien/White Center community
  • Funds must be used on the customers/clients or other direct costs of the program
  • Funds are not to be used for salaries or general overhead costs
